Professor Shu-Ling Berggreen and I have worked together on children's media research topics since I served as her research assistant in 2008. We subsequently co-authored two articles and several conference presentations.

I took an independent study on Critical Discourse Analysis with Professor Karen Tracy and three graduate students from the Department of Communication. The four of us published a chapter in Communication Yearbook as a result of our efforts.
